The Salomon 15 XA Pro Packvest

Hi all!

yippie, I can hardly believe it - I've been looking for this packvest for months now, since I saw it at the UTMB. Sold out everywhere - if they ever had it that is. Nowhere on the net to be found.

Now I have one! Bought it in ebey pot luck chance that was! Searched for about the thousendth time in ebay and suddenly it popped up!

It comes in two sizes - I just might be better off with size s/m,and this one is L/LX but what the... heck - it still fits eventhough I shouldn't become much thinner...

It's great though!! Good feel, little pockets everywhere.

Ah, next run will be a classic 42.2 hilly marathon, the Kyffhaeuser Berglauf on April 18th.

Röntgenlauf - recommended!

Although it's been a while (again!) I still remember the Röntgenlauf well. It was a wonderful run, the weather was perfect and in fact it was my first "proper" run - no walking poles and not so difficult that you had to walk or even climb passages like in the UTMB or Marathon des Sables.

Being 63.3 km long, this run is three halfmarathons. The nice thing is, that you can choose along the way if you want to stop after 21,2 or continue to do the marathon or even complete the full run. The 63.3 then is the complete circle with an elevation of 1100m. There are shuttles back to the Start / finish from the half- and marathon spot.

So, I managed my 4th qualificationpoint for the Ultra Trail Du Mont Blanc in 2009!!!
