Good evening all!
today was energybar shopping day with Andreas Dorst. I mentioned him before. He's also running the MdS and comes from a place approx 40kms from Berlin called Luckenwalde. Anyway, we went to this "Land und Lauf Laden" in the Augsburger Strasse. They gave us 15% on our shopping. I bought quite a few of the ultra sport bars (you NEED many because the only weigh 30g a piece!!) and also a 500g box Ultra Refresher mineral drink to get some flavour into to water...
The shop is pretty neat - not the cheapest place around, but it's got top of the field quality stuff.

Anke Molkenthin was back in Berlin yesterday. Got the chance to see her at the airport and she brought along our Gaiters! - see picture. I'm now trying to find a way how to fix the velcro to the shoe. Problay I'll staple the velcro to the sole of the shoe.......
Also she spoke to the company "Baiersdorf", who is top of the crop when it comes to tape, bandaids etc. She managed to organise us a great set of Leukotape, Elastomull etc! THANKS TO ANKE AND BAIERSDORF!
Oh, and also thank to Mathias from the pfälzer forest! He gave me valuable tips on what to to when you encounter wild boars! Next time I'm caching, Mathias, I'll mark your words! How about writing me a line into my guestbook? www.jumpinjaculus.de Cheers!

Riegel und Gamaschen!
Heute war Energieriegel - shopping Tag mit Andreas Dorst. Ihn hatte ich schon erwähnt, er läuft auch den MdS und kommt aus Luckenwalde. Er hat gute Kontakte zu einem Laufladen in der Augsburger Strasse, website: http://www.lang-und-lauf.de
Der Laden ist nicht ganz günstig, hat aber dafür auch nur die Besten Sachen wenns ums Laufen geht. Und zwar nicht irgendwelchen Fashionshrott, sondern Zeug für Sportler. Dort haben wir uns fett eingedeckt mit Ultrasports-Riegeln (man braucht schon deshalb viele davon, weil sie nur 30g schwer sind!) Zum Vergleich: ein Powerbar wiegt 65g. Zusätzlich habe ich mit noch eine 500g Dose Ultra Refresher Mineraldrink besorgt. Dann schmeckt das Wasser nicht so fad.
Anke Molkenthin war gestern auch in Berlin. Sie brachte uns unsere Gamaschen (siehe Bild) und zusätzlich für jeden noch ein Pack Verbandsmaterial, zur Verfügung gestellt von der Firma BAIERSDORF! Es gibt wohl kaum einen Sportler, der nicht schonmal Leukotape oder Elastomull benötigt hätte. Super- dann können die Blasen ja kommen, wir sind gewappnet. Vielen Dank ANKE!
